    Cinnamon Rolls

    If like me, you enjoy bakes & smells coming from your own oven, and yet you prefer to chill out rather then spend time in the kitchen over the weekend, this recipe is for you.

    Although traditionally in Nordics cinnamon rolls are made from yeast based dough, in the interest of time saving I sincerely recommend you a little short cut in a shape of puff pastry.

    Obviously, I’m talking about the pre-made one sold pretty much in every bigger grocery shop, otherwise you will end up making the rolls for good 3 days…

    The rolls surely differ vs the original, but they are still wonderfully delicious. And the smell of them is addictive – try & see for yourself.

    Ingredients:

    Puff pastry sheet 

    2-3 tablespoons of caster sugar

    1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon

    Recipe:

    Unroll the pastry sheet. Mix sugar & cinnamon together & dust it over the pastry. Press the sugar mixture lightly into the pastry & roll it tightly. Cool in fridge for 15min, then take out, cut into about half a centimetre thin slices and put it on a baking tray, lined with baking paper. Bake in 180 celcusiu for 30min, turn on the other side half way through. Remove from the oven and let it cool for few minutes.
